Brassocattleya Kuchulu
Brassocattleya Kuchulu
This 'little darling' (hence, Kuchulu) displays vibrant sunset colors on this remarkable intergeneric hybrid! From the cross between the fiery-colored Cattleya Ateshperest and the elegant Brassavola flagellaris, and what a lovely combination they are! These seedlings have such a wide range of brilliant colors, a sample seen in the photo above: golden yellows, bright orange, crimson hues, and some even have contrsting lips. The sturdy foliage has a terete (succulent-like) texture and compact growth habit.

Established blooming-size seedlings. Seedlings are the offspring of pollination; as siblings they may have some similarities, yet each seedling is unique and no two seedlings are identical in exact color or shape. There is no way to tell ahead of time exactly which colors and display each seedling will favor. Enjoy the surprise!

Encyclia (Mem Alberto Mulas x hanburyi)
Encyclia (Mem Alberto Mulas x hanburyi)
Colorful sprays of showy blossoms are on prominent display from this Encyclia hybrid. These gently ruffled flowers have a mahogany color a tinted overlay of either burgundy or copper, and each has a showy pink lip. The deep coloration and larger flower size come from Encyclia Memoria Alberto Mulas (Encyclia adenocaule x Encyclia alata) and the coppery hues and pink lip are from Encyclia hanburyi.

In full flower these first-bloom seedlings may stand up to 18 inches tall, but we expect mature plants' flower stems to grow even taller with upright to arching spike habit. An outstanding and compact companion plant to Cymbidiums and outdoor Laelias.

Established blooming-size seedlings. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination; as siblings they may be very similar, yet each seedling is unique and no two seedlings are identical in precise color or shape.
